Typical Approach
 
On medium to large projects we advise that the following be used, as a minimum, to help ensure a successful outcome.
   

* Review overall testing strategy being proposed to ensure that the clients requirements are being addressed

* Examine test aspects of the build plan and the testing approach being adopted

* Examine outputs and findings from existing test activities

* Define client Test Strategy provide effective test assurance

* Identify any risks associated with test activities and approach

* Review procedures, processes, support and reporting tools for 'fitness for purpose'

* Identify client resources required to support or undertake test activities, briefing such resources and ensuring attendance of such resources during testing

* Execute Tests

* Monitor and witness test activities

* Review quality of outputs and reporting from testing

* Monitor progress of testing deliverables and reporting back regularly on any findings and making recommendations as appropriate

* Summary analysis and management reports
